Your logo design speaks for your company, because of that it’s best to make sure it says the right things. Customers in today’s digital marketplace have more options than ever. You want them to single out your brand and think, “I know you. I understand you. I trust you.”
Once you form that brand connection, customers feel more confident about purchasing your products or using your service. This feeling of trust also leads to an increase in sales and repeat business for you. To make an impact on your customers, we will create a great logo for you by choosing the right logo design elements to tell your story.
A logo isn’t doing its job if it doesn’t spark some emotion. We will help consult with you to identify what you want customers to experience when they engage with your brand. Do you want them to feel joyful? Amused? Nostalgic? Excited? Elite?
It’s best to focus on why your company exists and what you do differently from your competitors. A clear story should start to emerge as you think about your values and the type of customers you serve. Are you committed to sustainability? A family-first mentality? Innovation and excitement?
We all have emotional responses to different colors, and that’s good news. The right logo color can sell your brand story without words and make your company easy to remember. Here are common color associations.
- Red/pink: passion, love, excitement, energy, anger, spice, entertainment, action
- Orange/yellow: happy, fun, young, friendly, cheerful, positive, confident, forward-thinking
- Green: pure, natural, earthy, fresh, organic, calming, caring
- Blue: soothing, peaceful, honest, trustworthy, secure, sadness, new beginnings
- Purple: creativity, luxury, majesty, nostalgic, magical, mystical
- Black: sophistication, authority, modern, luxury, seduction, simplicity, mystery
It’s a good idea that there are no more than two colors in your logo design. But if you prefer a multi color look, we include space between each logo color when possible. Brands like NBC, Google, and Windows achieve a clean, orderly look by breaking up colors for example.
White space is our friend in any logo design. The sole use of color and white space can be used to create your main logo shape. The famous Playboy logo jumps off the page with its white bunny on a black background. And the Nike swoosh is easy to recreate with any color scheme.
A streamline design that’s not complicated.
Because you want your logo to be easily recognizable, you want it to be simple, a lightning-fast way for your customers to notice and remember your brand. The logo should also serve as the ultimate ‘elevator’ pitch to your customers. It should be able to convey your entire business plan in an instant.
Ask yourself: Could someone look at this logo and easily describe it? Or is it too complicated to get a sense of it quickly?
DO set yourself apart. DON’T look just like the competition. Hexxagon is here to help.
In today’s cluttered marketplace, finding a way to stand out among the competition can seem pretty challenging. But without a distinct logo design, you may find potential clients and customers having a hard time recognizing your brand, confuse you with another company and, most importantly, end up going with a competitor rather than choosing your products or services.
During your design process we ask ourselves: Does this logo look unique? Is it easy to distinguish from other brands?
Your logo may be printed at different sizes, across different mediums and in different applications. So we will design your logo to be versatile enough that they can be used in many different mediums. Your logo will be designed to work well on the web, on letterhead, in print ads, and in video. We will carefully craft a logo that looks good no matter what.
As with any business endeavor, understanding your audience is key. Whatever your industry, your logo needs to be able to connect with the people you are marketing to. It’s important that your logo speaks to your target audience. For example, if you run a children’s toy store, we do not have to design your logo with an image of a toy in your logo or to have the word ‘toys’ in there either. The best idea is we would use are colors and elements that are childlike and appeals to kids.
A great logo will remain memorable when all it takes is seeing the logo once to be able to recall it enough to describe the logo to someone else. To remain timeless the idea is to not be too trendy but aim for longevity. Here at Hexxagon we strive to impart these qualities into every design.
